1. Background
The African Regional Intellectual Property Organization (ARIPO) is an Intergovernmental Organization created in 1976 under the Lusaka Agreement concluded under the auspices of the United National Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). Membership of the organization is open to all member states of the African Union (AU) or of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA). The present members of the Organization include Botswana, Cape Verde, The Kingdom of Eswatini, The Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, The Kingdom of Lesotho, Liberia, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Rwanda, Sao Tome and Principe, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sudan, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. (Total: 22 States).
ARIPO has embarked on a project to replace the office ceiling at its Headquarters Building and wishes to invite interested companies to submit their quotations.
2. Objective of the Assignment
The ARIPO Secretariat is requesting quotations for the supply and fit of the office ceiling at the Headquarters Building.
All prospective suppliers are invited to attend a compulsory site meeting that will be held at the ARIPO premises on 23 June 2023 at 1000 hours.
3. Submission of Quotations
Interested companies which are legal and eligible are invited to submit their quotations, addressed to the Director General of ARIPO by email at procurement@aripo.org not later than 7 July 2023 at 1600hrs.
The reference to be indicated on the subject of the email submission is: “ATIN:2023/06/OFFICE-CEILING/05”.
